Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un gel à transition de phase et à un procédé de formation d'un gel à transition de phase, lequel subit un changement de volume discontinu important dans une condition de transition de phase désirée en réaction à un stimulus. Le gel à transition de phase se compose d'un milieu liquide gélifié au moyen d'un réseau polymère qui se trouve dans une condition de transition de phase différente de celle désirée et qui contient une quantité d'un agent modificateur de transition de phase suffisante pour produire, en réaction au stimulus, un changement de volume dicontinu du gel jusqu'à ce que celui-ci présente la condition de transition de phase désirée.
