Abstract

Le perforateur comprend un arbre (1) dont l'extrémité inférieure (3) est dotée d'une pale d'hélice (4). Son extrémité supérieure (22) est reliée à un système d'entraînement (24) pour permettre la rotation de l'arbre autour de son axe longitudinal et à un mécanisme destiné à charger l'arbre (1) de charges, le vecteur de chacune desdites charges coïncidant avec l'axe longitudinal de l'arbre et étant orienté vers la couche (2) du sol à tester, la pale (4) atteignant cette couche (2) du sol à tester. Le perforateur est doté d'un moyen (19) relié à l'arbre (1) et destiné à produire des charges axiales régulées (P4) appliquées à l'arbre (1) lorsque la pale de l'hélice (4) atteint une profondeur (L1) inférieure à la profondeur (L2) de la couche (2) du sol à tester d'une valeur (L3) dépassant le pas (t) de la pale de l'hélice (4), et ledit perforateur est également doté d'un détecteur (6) destiné à mesurer la pression (P3) du sol sur la surface inférieure (5) de ladite pale d'hélice (4). Le perforateur dispose d'une unité de commande (7) connectée au détecteur (6) ainsi qu'au moyen (19).
