Abstract

Packaging comprising a single sealed wrapping, or two wrappings of which the first is sealed, for substances to the poured in part. A device for attaching a pouring spout on the single wrapping or outer wrapping of certain kinds of packages while keeping the single or first wrapping sealed before said package is opened. It consists of a single or outer sealed wrapping (1) comprising a slot (17) and an opening (2) over which is placed a pouring spout (14) of which the sides (15) concertina inwardly and include a tab (16) designed to fit into the slot (17). Said device is particularly intended for packaging products which require a single sealed wrapping, or two wrappings of which the first is sealed, in order to remain fresh.

Description

PACKAGE FOR PRODUCTS POURED BY FRACTION

Packaging in a sealed envelope, or in two envelopes, the first of which is waterproof, for products poured in fractions.

The present invention relates to a device making it possible, on packages requiring a single sealed envelope or two separate envelopes, the first of which is waterproof, to use a pouring spout while guaranteeing, before opening, the seal of the single envelope or the tightness of the first envelope.

The food packaging used for food of the "breakfast cereal" type or for chocolate powder, is traditionally presented as follows: for * the needs of preservation the food is contained in a first sealed envelope of plastic or other. This first envelope is placed in a second, non-waterproof envelope, generally made of cardboard. The consumer must open the cardboard box from above, then open the waterproof envelope, and finally pour the food into a container. These packaging have several defaults. First of all, two envelopes must be opened consecutively. If the cardboard box does not pose any particular problem, the waterproof envelope can be posed. solidity, it can be difficult to open and proclaim the use of a sharp object. Furthermore, the opening practiced in the waterproof envelope is generally irreg ulière and the flaps of the opening of the cardboard box being troublesome, this results in poor control of the pouring. Very often the consumer pours too much product or pours part of it next to it. During the pouring operation, part of the product escapes from the first envelope and ends up at the bottom of the cardboard box. completeness it is then necessary to remove the first envelope in order to recover it at the bottom of the second. The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy these drawbacks. To solve the problem of controlling the pouring, the use of a retractable pouring spout of the type carrying two small lateral sides perpendicular to a large frontal side and located on the upper part of one of the vertical sides of the package, is the most suitable solution.

Packages with a pouring spout of this type located on a single, non-waterproof envelope are known.

Packages making a spout of this type cooperate covered with a capsule and located on a second envelope, with an opening made on the first sealed envelope, are known. However, the seal thus obtained is relative because humidity can penetrate into the opening of the first envelope by the permeable parts of the second envelope not covered by the capsule.

Packages with a pouring spout of this type located on a first non-waterproof envelope fully covered with a second waterproof envelope are known, but they are neither very practical because they require the use of a sharp object in order to release the spout, neither very aesthetic.

More rigid packaging with two non-distinct envelopes, the cover of which is provided with a spout of another type cooperating with an opening made by the user in the first envelope, are known - but they are not suitable for criteria of lightness, packaging size or simplicity, required by certain products.

How to make a spout of the type which has two small lateral sides perpendicular to a large front side cooperate and located on the upper part of one of the vertical sides of a second envelope, with an opening made by the user on a first envelope perfectly sealed before opening, so that the lateral sides of the spout are positioned outside this opening, whatever the open or closed position of the spout? Or how to make cooperate a spout of this type located on the upper part one of the vertical sides of a single, sealed envelope with an opening made by the user in this envelope, so that the lateral sides of the pouring spout are positioned outside this opening, whatever either the open or closed position of the spout? These are the problems to be solved and it is on their lution that carries the invention.

The device according to the invention is designed for packaging comprising either a single waterproof envelope or a first waterproof envelope inserted in a second non-waterproof envelope. Throughout the description of this patent, the terms "single waterproof envelope" and "second envelope" denote the same object, except for the seal.

The invention comprises a single sealed envelope or second envelope comprising on the upper part of one of its vertical sides a quadrangular opening above which is fixed a pouring spout which can be folded over itself in bellows along the line A / B.

According to the version with two envelopes, the second envelope contains a first sealed envelope possibly including a quadrangular opening covered with an obstruction means.

In this version the user proceeds in the following sui¬ line line open the spout he sees the first envelope or the means of obstructing its opening. He then practices by tearing an opening in the second envelope or he removes the obstruction means from its opening. After use, it closes the spout thus ensuring sufficient protection for the product for the duration of use.

Referring to FIGS. 7,4 and 3 and according to the two-envelope version, it can be seen that the first sealed envelope 6 is inserted into a second envelope 1. The second envelope 1 is fixed to the first 6 at the internal periphery 9 of its quadrangular opening 2 made in the upper part of one of its vertical sides. The user then makes an opening in the envelope 6 by tearing.

According to a preferred embodiment of the envelope 6 and with reference to FIGS. 2 and 5, it can be seen that the first envelope 6 comprises on the upper part of one of its vertical sides a quadrangular opening 7 covered with a removable capsule 5 provided of a gripping end 3. When the user removes the capsule 5 he releases the opening 7 provided with a dimension sufficient for the easy flow of the products. The opening 7 and the capsule 5 are of a dimension slightly less than the opening 2. The two envelopes 1 and 6 are fixed to each other at the level of the respectively internal 9 and external 8 peripheries of their openings 2 and 7 located opposite .

Referring to FIG. 8, it can be seen that the capsule 5 has a gripping end 3 accessible from the outside of the packaging, fixed on its lower horizontal side, folded back on itself parallel to its vertical sides, and d 'a length greater than these.

Referring to FIG. 6, it can be seen that according to a variant of the envelope 6, the opening 7 is delimited by a line of quadrangular weakness 11 made in the thickness of the material, of a dimension slightly less than the opening 2, e covered by a removable border 12 having a gripping end 13. When the border is removed it brings with it the material surface of the envelope 6 corresponding to the opening 7. The arrangement and the size of the the gripping end 13 of the border 12 is identical to that of the gripping end 3 of the capsule 5.

In this version with two envelopes, the envelope 1 must be integral with the waterproof envelope 6 at least at the level of the internal periphery 9 of its opening 2.11 it is understood that it can also be integral with the envelope 6 over any its surface forming, in a way, a second sealed envelope 1 formed of two thicknesses of different materials, except at its slot 17 and / or its opening 2.

Referring to Figures 1,10 and 11 it can be seen that according to the main characteristic of the invention, applicable to the version with one or two envelopes, the single waterproof envelope or second envelope 1 comprises fixed above its quadrangular opening 2 a pouring spout 14 and 21 whose lateral sides 15 and 27 fold in on themselves in a bellows along the line A / B while positioning themselves during the closing outside of the opening 2 above.

Referring to Figure 1 we see that according to a first embodiment, the spout 14 has a fixing lug 20 located along its three sides, and a tongue 16 for holding closed position located on the upper edge of its large frontal side and intended to penetrate into a horizon slot pillowcase 17 made on the envelope 1 above the opening 2 at a slight distance from the fixing zone 9.

Referring to FIG. 11, it can be seen that according to another embodiment, the pouring spout 21 includes a fixing frame 22 on the casing 1. a gripping end 23 situated on the upper part of the front side and intended for its opening, a protuberance 25 located on the upper edge of the frame 22 or on the upper part of the front side and intended to keep it in the closed position.

Referring to FIG. 12 and in the version with a single sealed envelope 1 it can be seen that the opening 2 is covered with a removable capsule 29 provided with a gripping end 30 whose arrangement and dimension are identical to those of the gripping end 3 of the capsule 5.

In both embodiments the spout 14 and 21 are preferably made of flexible plastic, in the open position and in a single injection molding operation. The lateral sides 15 and 27 are of a thickness less than that of the side The junction of the lower edge 31 and 26 with the tab 20 or the frame 22 acts as an elastic hinge and the material of which it is made has a natural tendency to lead the spout 14 and 21 into the open position in which has been molded. The invention is obviously not limited to the form of execution and the dimensions described and shown, which may undergo modification of detail without departing from the scope of the invention. It is for example understood that the opening of the two envelopes or the spout may be circular.

The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the packaging of all food products or not, which are poured by fraction into a container and the conservation of which, before opening, requires the use of a single sealed envelope or of two envelopes, the first is waterproof.

Claims

1) Packaging with one or two envelopes of the type comprising on the upper part of one of its vertical sides a pouring spout with two small lateral sides perpendicular to a large front side, characterized in that the envelope (1) comprises on the upper part of one of its vertical sides, or on its upper horizontal side, a quadrangular opening (2) over which is fixed a pouring spout (14) and (21) provided with a fixing means (20) and ( 22), and whose small lateral sides (15) and (27) fold back on themselves in a bellows along the line A / B by positioning themselves outside the opening (2) above.
