Definitions

  • the present invention refers to a pile, in particular a cohesion pile comprising a driving means, a pile shoe or the like and at least two elements, provided with force absor ⁇ bing surfaces.
  • Cohesion piles of the above mentioned type are previously known and have been used in great extent with a very good result.
  • a drawback with these cohesion piles is however that the manufacturing is relatively labour and cost demanding.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a pole, in particular a cohesion pile, with low manufacturing cost along with a very low weight without having an influence on the load absorbing capacity.
  • the pile further should have a large envelope surface, give a small displaced earth volume, be joinable, easy to handle, adaptable with respect to element length and total length and corrosion-proof.
  • the driving should be possible to carry out with simple light weight equipments.
  • Fig. 1 shows a frontal view of a pile according to the invention.
  • Fig. 2 shows a lateral view of the pile according to fig.
  • a Fig. 3 shows a frontal view a pile according to a modified embodiment.
  • Fig. 4 shows a lateral wiew and partly in section the wedge of a pile according to a third embodiment.
  • Fig. 5 shows a lateral view of a device for feeding forward of the flexible bands in connetion with driving of the pile.
  • Fig. 6 is a view from the above corresponding to fig. 4.
  • the cohesion pile 10 consists of a driving means, eg. a tube 11, a pile shoe 12 and a pair of flexible bands 13, which form the cohesion force absor ⁇ bing surfaces.
  • the bands 13 at one of their ends are attac- hed to the pile shoe 12 by means of welded joints 14 (fig. 1), mechanical joints, eg. bolt joints 15 (fig. 3), friction joints (fig. 4) or the like while they for the rest are not connected to the tube 11 but in the driven position of the pile extend freely along the sides of the same substantially parallell to the tube 11.
  • the reference numeral 16 designates a holder-on and 17 a wedge, which clamps the band 13.
  • the bands can be constituted by steel, plastic or fabric bands, which during the driving of the tube is rolled off from band rolls 20, 21 (fig. 4 and 5) and are guided down into the ground in parallell with the tube 11.
  • the bands are cut off in a suitable place and they will serve as suppor ⁇ ting means for the tube 11 and absorb tensile stress in this.
  • the driving means can be constituted by a rail, steel beam, concrete pile, wooden pile or the like.
  • the driving means consists of smaller sections, which are joined together to a long unit in connection with the driving into the ground.
  • a joint is designated with 18.
  • Fig. 5 and 6 show a wagon 19 which carries a pair of band rolls 20, 21 for feeding of the bands 13, straightening rollers 22 and 23 as well as a cutting device for cutting the bands.
  • the wagon 19 also contains holders for the dri ⁇ ving means, eg. the tube 11, and rollers 27 over which the bands 13 run at the driving of the pile.
  • the bands 13 thus gradually will be roled off from the band rolls 20 and 21 when the tube sections are driven down into the ground, and are cut off when the desired driving depth has been reached.
  • the wagon 19 is easily movable between the different the different driving locations.
