Abstract

Procédé pour la coulée centrifuge du cuivre et des alliages de cuivre ou d'autres alliages sensibles à l'oxygène, en particulier le bronze, au moins un fondant étant incorporé au moule afin d'éviter ou de limiter la formation d'une couche d'oxyde sur la surface interne de la pièce moulée. On applique en tant que fondant sur la surface interne encore liquide de la pièce moulée, immédiatement après l'opération de coulée, du borax solide, de préférence sous forme de poudre, le cas échéant avec des mélanges de fines particules de métaux à affinité pour l'oxygène, par exemple Mg, Li, Cer et/ou de la poudre de graphite et/ou de chamotte et/ou de charbon de bois, le tout sous la forme d'une couche d'une épaisseur de 0,5 à 4 mm, de préférence de 1 à 3 mm.
