Abstract

Absorbent mattress cover consisting of at least two layers, the first of which, in contact with the mattress, is essentially impermeable to liquids and the second of which, superimposed on the first, is an absorbent layer which absorbs liquids. The layer essentially impermeable to liquids consists of a sheet which is highly permeable to water vapour.
