Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un matériau à base de lignocellulose ayant une structure stratifiée et une teneur en particules solides sèches supérieure à 80 %, de préférence à 85 %. Ledit matériau se caractérise par une densité comprise entre 400 et 575 kg/m3 mesurée selon le procédé standard SCAN-P7:75 et par une capacité de désintégration (calculée comme la quantité d'énergie électrique consommée pendant la désintégration du matériau dans un broyeur à marteaux) comprise entre 30 et 60 kWh/tonne de pulpe, de préférence entre 35 et 50 kWh/tonne de pulpe. En outre, après avoir été désintégré, la matériau présente une masse volumique en vrac de 15 à 23 cm3/g mesurée selon le procédé standard SCAN-C33:80 et une résistance de réticulation de 2 à 4,5 N. La présente invention se rapporte également à un procédé servant à produire une bande formée au mouillé en continu de matériau à base de lignocellulose et consistant à égoutter et à presser la bande jusqu'à ce qu'elle présente une teneur en particules solides sèches comprise entre environ 30 et 60 %, puis à sécher la bande. Ledit procédé se caractérise par la compression de la bande formée au mouillé ayant une teneur en particules solides sèches d'au moins 50 %, de préférence d'au moins 80 %, au moyen d'une pression linéaire produisant un accroissement de la masse volumique de plus de 10 %.
