Abstract
The device according to the present invention consists in a plane (P) that may be placed on the bottom of the baggage compartment or on any loading plane of motor vehicles or similar and is provided with shutters realized on the surface thereof, being single (1) or multiple (3), and that may be raised with respect to said plane and provided with means (2) for keeping them in the vertical position; said shutters (1) and (3) being placed with orthogonal edges one to the other provided for the division of the room into separate sectors for containing objects of a dimension smaller than the total cubage thus preventing them from moving - during transport - and from fouling.
Description
Partition device for motor vehicle loading compa
The present invention ccncerns a device with mov- able walls for deviding into separate bins the bag¬ gage compartment of motor vehicles, trucks or any transport means.
It is already known that - except in very rare ca- ses - the objects carries in the baggage compart¬ ment and on the loading planes of motor vehicles and similar do not completely fill up the room, and therefore said objects, which don't have a fix balance, oftenly move - during transport - fouling with one another and clashing against the walls, causing discomfort to the people in the motor vehicle. Furthermore, said clashes may also cause the breaking of delicate objects with an eventual outflow of the content.
It is the aim of the present invention to rea¬ lize a simple, cheap and easy-tu-use device that separates the objects contained in the baggage compartment or loading plane, thus preventing all mentioned inconveniencies.
The aim set forth is reached, according to the pre¬ sent invention, by means of a device that may be realized according to shape and dimension or pre-
determined and differenced, following to the struc¬ ture of the baggage compartment and/or of the load¬ ing plane, consisting of a plane P that may be plac¬ ed on the bottom of said baggage compartment and provided with shutters on the surface thereof - sin¬ gle or multiple - that may be raised with respect to said plane and provided with means for keeping them vertical.
Said shutters being placed with the orthogonal ed¬ ges one to the-other device the room into separate sectors that may contain objects of a dimension smaller than the whole cubage, thus preventing them from moving or fouling during transport.
The present invention will be explained more in de¬ tail hereinbelow relating to the attached drawings in which some preferred embodiments are shown.
Figure 1 , shows a perspective view of a horizontal plane device for the division into sepa¬ rate sectors of the baggage compartments and loading planes of motor vehicles.
Figure 2, shows a perspective view of a variant of the disposition with the plane being plac¬ ed or vertically fixed to one wall of the loading compartment.
The present invention concerns a device for the fu- viεion into separate sectors of the baggage compart¬ ments and loading planes of motor vehicles, mainly containing:
- a plane P of wood, plastic, metal or other suit¬ able material, with a such a surface as to allow the insertion thereof in the baggage compartment, provided with single shutters 1 that may be rais- ed up to the vertical position and there blocked by means like folding transversal rods 2, and with multiple shutters 3, in turn comprising further internal shutters 4, the latter being suited for outwardly folding with respect to the vertical, until they are blocked, with similar means 2 in a position parallel to the bottom plane.
Said shutters 1 and 3, once placed in the vertical position, cross each other preferably in the ver- tical position so as to realize separate paralle¬ lepiped sectors in the baggage compartment and on the loading plane.
Shutters 4 may be extracted from said multiple shutters 3 and may have a continuity in 5, prefe¬ rably circular, for the housing and fixing of bottles and similar objects placed on plane P.
According to the needs of the loading plane, said plane P may also be vertically placed as shown in figure 2, resting and being fixed to one of the vertical walls.
The device will be preferably produced separately from the motor vehicle and installed by the users but it may of course also realized contemporari¬ ly with the motor vehicle.
In a possible variant, the device may be housed in the baggage compartment of the motor vehicles, re¬ placing the wheel cover and hinging said plane P on one side of the baggage compartment's bottom.
Claims
1. A device for deviding into separate bins the load¬ ing rooms and planes of motor vehicles, compris- ing a plane (P) of wood, plastic, metal or other suitable material, with a surface such as to be inserted in the baggage compartment or on a load¬ ing plane, characterized in the presence of single shutters (1 ) that may be raised to the vertical position and blocked with transversal folding rods (2), and of multiple shutters (3) in -turn comprising further inner shutters (4), the last being outwardly folding with respect to the ver¬ tical until they are blocked, with similar rods ( 2 ), in a position parallel to the bottom plane.
2. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that said shutters (1 ) and (3), once placed in vertical position, cross one with the other pre- ferably in vertical position so as to determine the formation of parallelepiped bins of the bag¬ gage compartment.
3. A device according to the precedent claims, cha- racterized in that said shutters (4), extractable from said multiple shutters (3), show circular continuity solutions ( ) for the housing and fix¬ ing of bottles and similar objects placed on plane (P).
4. A device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said plane (P) in vertically placed, resting or fixed to one of the vertical walls of the bag¬ gage compartment or of the loading plane.
5. A device according to claim 1 , realized in the construction phase of the motor vehicle, charac¬ terized in that said plane (P) is hinged on one side of the baggage compartment's bottom, replac- ing the wheel cover.
