  • the revolving unit is turned one compartment so that passage is closed and a new compartment is placed at the input hole. The next animal is put into the hole until the revolving unit is full. Then the first animal is taken out dead.
  • Tne special about this process is that the animals are separated during the killing, panic is avoided, the fur remains intact and the animals are killed in snort time (aoout 4 sec. ) . It is furthermore possible to supervise the killing process through the transparent front plate.

  • the diameter of the cylinder should not be over 60 cm and the length should not be more than 80 cm, or else the blow off time to drive the oxygen away would be to long and aintainance of an oxygenfree room is hard to obtain.
  • Tne front is made of clear plexiglass for supervising of the killing process.
  • the cylinder i ⁇ made of metal, but the material for the apparatus is of secondary importance. Tne killing effect can furthermore be obtained in other configurations tnan the cylinder as long as separation of the animals is obtainable.
