Thus if the pressures are removed, and the weight of the material tends to push the material back, the throat 31 becomes blocked with the material.

Abstract

Un procédé de transfert pneumatique de matière particulaire, à partir d'un volume, comprend l'emplacement d'un dispositif (2) tubulaire dans le volume (3), le dispositif tubulaire (2) ayant un orifice (7) longitudinal pour l'entrée de matière particulaire, une sortie (4b) d'air et de matière particulière à, ou vers une extrémité, et une arrivée (4a) d'air à, ou vers son autre extrémité, exerçant une aspiration à la sortie (4b) pour retirer l'air de l'entrée (4a) et ainsi entrainer de la matière particulaire du volume (3), et exerçant simultanément une pression de fluide, à partir d'une source pressurisé, sur l'arrivée (4a). On a découvert que le procédé présente des applications particulièrement avantageuses, dans des sablières et dans des équipements ejecteurs pour des locomotives ferroviaires, dans lesquelles le dispositif (2) tubulaire est disposé dans la sablière (1) afin de transférer du sable de la sablière (1) à l'éjecteur.
