Abstract

La soupape à trois voies (1) comprend deux ouvertures d'écoulement traversant coaxiales (12, 13) et un corps de soupape (5) agissant conjointement avec ses ouvertures, en vue d'une répartition éventuelle de l'écoulement dans les ouvertures. Le corps de soupape comporte deux parties de corps de soupape (6, 7) qui sont mobiles dans un sens relativement axial l'une par rapport à l'autre et dont le mouvement qu'elles effectuent l'une par rapport à l'autre peut également être relativement arrêté. Le mouvement de ces parties entre différentes positions d'arrêt est produit par le corps de soupape qui vient se plaquer sous l'action de sa tige contre une surface en about (constituée par le siège de soupape 14 ou 15), au niveau d'au moins une des ouvertures d'écoulement traversant (12 ou 13). Un changement dans les positions axiales relatives des parties (6, 7) du corps de soupape modifie la capacité d'écoulement traversant total de la soupape. Celle-ci peut ainsi produire un étranglement variable de l'écoulement total.
