Abstract

Un ajutage distributeur comprend un corps (10) pouvant être relié à une source de gaz de pétrole liquéfié par un raccord (11) et au réservoir de gaz d'un véhicule par une insertion filetée (19) dans un écrou tournant (15). Le gaz est appliqué au réservoir à l'intérieur du corps de soupape (24) par le raccord (14) et est livré à travers une soupape principale ayant un siège de soupape (33) et une soupape à piston (23). La soupape à piston (23) et le cylindre de soupape (22) forment un amortisseur "dashpot" mis sous pression par le gaz s'écoulant par le passage (37). Le gaz sort par un écart annulaire entre la soupape à piston (24) et le cylindre de soupape (22) dès que la soupape (23) se sépare de son siège (3) afin de réduire la pression dans le "dashpot", ce qui permet d'ouvrir aisément la soupape principale. L'écrou tournant (15) est retenu par un goujon (20) qui pénètre dans un creux (21) parmi une pluralité de creux formés du côté postérieur de l'écrou lorsque l'ajutage est ouvert.
