Abstract

A one or two piece dice-top with hexagonal cross-section. The two piece dice-top comprises a hexagonal conical base part to which a manipulator stem is attached and a hexagonal prism upper part which rotates freely on the stem adjacent to the base. The faces of both parts are numbered and the hexagonal prism is restrained by a small lip on the manipulator stem.

Description

DESCRIPTION OF TEE INVENTION DICE-TOP
A) SINGLE VERSION
The new type of DISE is a single part unit in hexagonal shape with a tapered base deυided into six equal sides.
At the top of the unit or DISE is a handle or a manipulator to spin the unit for a result. The equal sides of the unit can be marked with DOTS- NUMERALS. DESIGNS or COLOURS.
This unit or DISE can be used for any game of ohanoe and most board games.
B) DOUBLE VERSION (also called TIERED DISE)
The two tiered unit consists of two parts. The bottom part is a hexagonal shape also with a tapered base devided into six equal sides. It has a fixed upward directed shaft to form a handle or manipulator. The shaft has a small tapered lip to hold the top part of the unit in position. The top part is also a hexagonal shaped unit equal in size to the bottom hexagonal shape. The top part has a vertical bore so it can be pushed down over the tapered lip on to the shaft. The lip on the shaft is so situated that it will hold the top part down when rotating. The top part will rotate freely and separatly on the top of the bottom part. The side of the unit or DISE can be marked with DOTS ,NUMERALS DESIGNS or COLOURS.This DISE or unit can also be used for games of chance and most board games.

Claims

The claims fefining the invention are as follows
Multiple equally sided units/items (octagonal or hexagonal) complete with cone, dome or flat sided tapered base,or tiered units/items,split in the middle into two parts, with separate or fixed handle,to hold bottom and top parts together,or similar shape for the use of spinning purposes, game of chance, gambling,Toys, also for decoration, ornamentation, printing on any materials or for use of advertising purposes.
On the top of units/items will be a handle or shape of manipulation Fach of the multiple equal sides will be indicated by either embeded, flat or raised dots,lettering/words,numerals designed shapes or alternately blank sides. The operation of the units/items is by spinning the handle or shape sending the units/items into an upright spinning action. The units/items will cease spinning causing them to fall to their side landing on one of the multiple equal sides. The result will be determined by the lettering/numerals on the multiple equal side at the top of units/items when lying on its or their side. The units/items will be manufactured from any substance (ex. synthetics, timbers and metalics)in solid or hollow forms. The units/items will be manufactured in infinitely variable sizes and colours. This application is to cover for all manufacturing rights. Units/items will be manufactured in single or multiple parts.
