- the present invention relates to a coupling for hoses or tubes, such as a coupling of the quick-acting type in ⁇ cluding a sleeve and a nipple for insertion into the sleeve .
- Couplings of the quick-acting type for use at preferably watering or tapping devices are produced of such high- grade materials, predominantly metals, that they function and remain tight for a very long time and that they, con- trary to plastic devices, possess excellent wearability also because of thBir considerably greater rigidity. This consequently means that such couplings have somewhat higher production costs and thus a higher price. These couplings are thus wished from where they are mounted and a great number is removed by unauthorized people, especially from public buildings. This involves extra costs for new coup- lings. Furthermore the user wanting to employ e.g. a hose is unable to connect it e.g. to a water tap involving loss of working hours and the inconvenience of having to wait until a new coupling has been procured, which costs much more than the individual coupling.
- the object of the invention is to provide a coupling of the kind named in the introduction where undesired removal is avoided.
- the coupling according to the invention is characterised by comprising an inner part adapted to be screwed onto a tap, e.g. a water tap, said inner part being partly or completely surrounded by an outer part formed by e.g. a sleeve or a nipple of the quick-acting coupling and at least one of the two parts being provided with a circular groove, where a locking means is engaged in such a way as to enable the outer part to rotate freely in relation to the inner part, at least in the unscrewing direction.

- the part of the coupling attached to the tap i.e. the outer part, only rotates around the inner part if a attempt for its removal is made, and thus cannot be removed without being destroyed and thus made useless.

- the coupling part surrounds the .securing part almost completely thus making it impossible to get a hold on it with a tool with regard to removing said coupling.

- the coupling part is slipped over the securing part and the two grooves 6 and 8 are opposite each other the pin(s) is/are inserted such as to be- in engagement with groove 8 and at the same time flush with the circumference of the coupling part.
- the coupling part in the drawings is shown in form of a sleeve of the coupling, but can, of course, also be the nipple. Furthermore mounting with inner and outer thread is possible.
