Abstract

The method is used in connection with demountable construction purposes. During the building stage at least one building component (1) such as board, plate or the like is adjoined to at least one elongate fixing element (2). The fixing element comprises an elongate groove or the like at the central portion (3) of the fixing element (2) and fixing members (4) at the sides of said central portion (3). The fixing members (4) further comprise organs (5) for adjoining the fixing element and/or organs for receiving the fastening members. Thus the combination of said at least one building component (1) and said at least one fixing element (2) adjoined together substantially define an elongate space arrangement in which a closed texture (6) is arranged before the demounting stage. The demounting is effected by leading pressure intermediate medium inside the closed texture (6) to expand said closed texture and thereby demounting the construction by loosening said at least one building component (1) and said fixing element (2) from each other.

Description

Method for demounting constructions
The invention relates to method for demounting constructions .
During construction works several kinds of temporary constructions are needed. In order to proceed in the " construction works the demounting of these constructions should be effected as quickly as possible after the stage of the construction works for which the temporary construction is . build, is effected. As examples of the temporary constructions related with the scope of invention are concrete forms and shutterings. These have been generally demounted manually using handtools such as claw bars. This rnetnoi :.s very time consuming and further the safety at work is problematic.
it is the object of the present invention to eliminate the drawbacks deicribed above. For this purpose the method is mainly characterized by the way described in the characteristic part of the claim 1. By means of the method the building components can be separated from the fixing elements very quickly and easily. The building components and fixing elements can possibly be used as constructional parts for a new temporary construction. The main idea of the invention is to use the expanding closed texture to demount the whole construction so that the original constructional parts are separate from each other.
Other suitable and advantageous embodiments of the method are described in the annexed subclaims. The invention has been described more closely in the following description, in which references are made
Figure imgf000004_0001
to the annexed drawings, in which
Fig 1 shows schematically in a perspective view a boarding built up in accordance with the method of the invention,
Fig 2 shows a sectional view of the boarding of fig 1 and
Fig 3 shows a sectional view of the demounting stage of the form.
Fig 1 and 2 show a boarding, which can be used as a concrete form, in which the building components such as the boards 1, which are placed side by side, are joined together by means of an elongate fixing member 2 in a transversal direction with regard to the longitudinal direction of the boards. As seen from the figures the fixing element 2 is advantageously a profile body made of plate-like material such as sheet iron. The axial profile of the body comprises a central portion 3 having a general U-shape and at the both sides of said central portion 3 fixing members 4 having a general planar form. The surfaces 41 of the said fixing members facing towards the oppening direction of the U-shape are fixing surfaces, at which the fixing element 2 has been joined to the building components 1 by means of spikes 5 projecting perpendicularly from the said surfaces 4'. The said fixing members 4 are substantially in a same plane and they are parallel with the planar bottom of the U-shape of the central portion 3. The combination of the building elements 1 and the central portion 3 of the fixing element 2 substantially define an elongated space arrangement in which a closed texture 6 is arranged. The closed texture 6 has a tubular shape and the length of the closed texture corresponds substantially the lenght of the fixing element.. The closed tubular texture 6 is closed from its first end and second end is connected with a source of pressure intermediate medium. The closed texture is flattened during the building stage of the construction so that its inner surfaces are opposite to each other. The outer surfaces of the said closed texture are against the building components 1 eg. the boards and further against a filling element 7 which is placed inside the U-shaped central portion 3. The purpose of the filling element 7 is to fill the elongated space arrangement to such an extent, that the flattened closed texture 6 fills the rest of the space. The axial section of the central portion 3, especially the U- or V- shape must be constructed so that the element has the desired rigidity especially bending stiffness. This fact means that the sectional area of elongated space arrangement is in many practical cases too large for the closed texture. In order to combine on the one hand the reguirements of the rigidity of the element and on the other hand the space required for the flattened closed texture a filling element 7 is used. As the ends of the fixing elements are open the closed texture 6 and the optional filling element 7 can be also installed inside the closed space arrangement after the boarding has been made. Of course the installation of the said components can be effected during construction.
During the demounting stage the closed texture is pressurized by means of pressure intermediate medium. The pressure causes the closed texture to expand whereby the fixing element and the board are loosened from each other as presented in Fig. 6 due to the force 9 acting towards the boards 1 and the counterforce 10 acting diametrally opposite with regard to the force 9 to the surface of the filling element 7.
Material of the closed texture used in the method can be chosen from the group of materials having a sufficient flexibility and durability, one of these materials being rubber. The walls of the closed texture should be" thick enough to prevent the spikes or nails in the fixing element to break them. It is of course agvantageous, that the closed texture is before the demounting stage flattened so that the inner surfaces of said closed texture are against each other. The closed texture fills to a great extent the elongated space arrangement between the filling element and the boarding, whereby the loosening of the fixing element and the building components starts immediately after the expanding of said closed texture starts. Further it is advantageous, that the closed texture returns to its initial position during the degrement of pressure. Thus pressure intermediate medium is returned to the source and no medium remains inside the closed texture. Pressure intermediate medium in accordance with the method can be liquiform or gaseous, such as water, oil, air, oxygen or carbondioxide. The pressure needed for the loosening of the boards and the fixing element from each other does not have to be high for instance in most cases the pressure of water supply line is sufficient.
After the demounting of the construction the constructional parts of the same can be used in most cases for a new construction, because the said parts remain undamaged during the demounting.
For a person skilled in the art it is evident, that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described hereabove. The method can be utilized in the scope of the claims, which indicate the basic idea of the invention. The shape of the fixing element is to restricted in any way to the prerequisite for the use of the said fixing element in connection with the method in accordance with the invention is that it comprises the central portion, which can take either directly or undirectly the counterforce 10 and on both sides of the said central portion the fixing members at which the said fixing element is adjoined to at least one building component. To this background it is evident, that the fixing element can comprise a an profile body which has several adjacent U-shaped portions together with said fixing members having a generally planar shape. The fixing element can also be made sraight or curved in its longitudinal direction. The actual adjoinment can be made by means of the spikes shown in figures, which are formed out of material of the fixing members and/or by means of separate nails or the like, which are nailed through the holes or the like formed to the ' fixing members into the building componen .
The description refers to a boarding embodiment. The method can, however, be utilized in all those cases in which the building "components are adjoined to the fixing element in order to accomplish a special temporary construction. Thus in addition to the boarding embodiment also plates or sheets made of wood-based materials can be utilized. Also other materials in addition to wood-based ones are suitable. One of the most important applications of the method is the demounting of temporary constructions to be used as concrete forms or shutterings, but the method can be applied also for other temporary constructions which are demounted after the actual work is done. The need of quick demounting is also evident for instance in army engineering works.
