Description
Drehbares Antriebsbauteil für ein Lenkgetriebe, insbesondere für Kraftfahrzeuge Rotatable drive component for a steering gear, in particular for motor vehicles
The invention relates to a rotatable drive component for a steering gear, in particular for motor vehicles, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a drive component is known from DE-OS 28 04 094. In this drive component, a driving part in the form of a pinion is connected to a driven part in the form of a valve sleeve via an annular coupling member. An end portion of the coupling member is inserted over an end portion of the pinion. The coupling member is connected by teeth arranged in its interior, which are in engagement with the teeth of the end section of the pinion, and is connected to the pinion by means of an adhesive connection by brazing. A corresponding connection is provided between the coupling member and the valve sleeve.
The division of the drive component into a driven and a driving part in the known embodiment compared to other known, one-piece drive components simplifies production, in particular in the manufacture of the pinion toothing. A disadvantage of this embodiment, however, is that internal and external toothing must be arranged on the coupling member, which match exactly with a counter toothing of the driving and the driven part. During the production of the additional adhesive connection by brazing, warping, a loss of strength and a reduction in the surface hardness of the finished toothing of the pinion cannot be avoided.
The invention is based on the object of designing a drive component in such a way that cheaper and simpler production is possible, in particular in the direction of automatic production. This object is achieved by the drive component characterized in claim 1. By connecting the driving and the driven part of the drive component by a non-cutting cold forming process, it is possible to make the driven part very simple. The two parts can be connected particularly advantageously by kneading round if the driven part has a smooth receiving bore which matches the outer diameter of the driving part. This makes it possible to connect uniformly designed driven parts with different driving parts, for example a pinion or a steering worm, the driving parts being able to have different transmission profiles or toothings. It is also possible to assemble driving parts produced in large numbers with different driven parts. Through the circular kneading process, an essentially cylindrical part of the driven part, which contains the receiving bore, is positively connected to the transmission profile of the driving part, which can have a reduced outer diameter at one end.
Es zeigt:The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to several exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. It shows:

A driving part 1 in the form of a pinion of a rack-and-pinion steering system or a worm gear of a recirculating ball steering gear has a transmission profile 2 which extends over the entire axial length of the driving part and is designed as a toothing or as a ball screw. At one end, the transmission profile 2 has a reduced outer diameter 3. There is a groove 4 between the fully formed part of the transmission profile and the end with a reduced outer diameter 3. If the driving part 1 is a sprocket with straight teeth, in which no axial forces occur, and with a small outer diameter, the outer diameter is reduced and the installation of a groove is not necessary. At the other end of the driving part 1, a journal 5 is formed.
A driven part 6, which will be described in more detail later, has at one end 7 a central receiving bore 8, the diameter of which corresponds to the outer diameter 3 of the driving part 1. In the area of the receiving bore 8, the driven part 6 is essentially cylindrical, the outer diameter 9 in this area being larger in the initial state than the outer diameter of the fully assembled drive component.
In Fig. 3 the assembly of the driving part 1 with the driven part 6 is shown. The connection of the two parts is initially carried out in that the driven part 6 with his Receiving hole 8 is pushed onto the stepped end of the driving part with the outer diameter 3. Subsequently, the driven part 6 is connected to the driving part 1 in the region of its end 7 by non-cutting cold forming, in particular by kneading. The material of the end 7 of the driven part 6 is pressed into the groove 4 and into the transmission profile 2 in the area of the outer diameter 3, so that there is a positive connection between the two parts. 4 shows a cross section through the finished connection. The transmission profile 2 is designed as a toothing.
In the embodiment of Fig. 5, the driving member is a pinion 10 'skraftlenkung a rack Hilf. The driven part is designed as a valve body 11 which is rotatably mounted in a valve housing 12. In the valve body 11, two control valves 13 and 14 are arranged parallel to one another, the valve pistons of which can be adjusted by a fork-shaped actuating element 15. The actuating element 15 carries a steering spindle connection 16 and is connected to the valve body 11 by a torsion bar 17. The connection point 18 produced by round kneading serves as a sealing surface on its outer circumference.
In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 6, the driving part is designed as a steering worm 19 of a recirculating ball steering gear. The steering worm 19 is connected to the valve sleeve 20 of a rotary slide valve 21 by kneading.
