Abstract
Combination backpack and zip-out windbreaker is unique in its invention because of the fact that the backpack not only functions as a carrying tool with utensils such as children school kits as well as light camping gear but that it also has a zip-out windbreaker within the backpack to allow the consumer quick access to exit from getting wet in case of wind and/or rain. Both backpack and the windbreaker has been made by nylon type material and has been treated by P.U. coating to prevent the inside contents of the backpack from getting wet and/or damaged by water and also to prevent harsh wind and/or hail from penetrating to the users clothing. Shoulder straps and the hand strap are provided optionally for the users convenience. Giving the user, the option of alternating from using hand straps and/or shoulder straps to suit users needs.
Description
TITLE OP INVENTION:
Combination backpack and zip out windbreaker.
TECHNICAL FIELD: Technical aspect of this backpack can be classi¬ fied under four different categories:
One being the way the windbreaker and the back¬ pack has been put together to allow the windbreaker to be work without having to discard the .backpack. This has been made possible by stitching the back side of the windbreaker to the front zipper of backpack (7')» second being the velcro pocket (6). This has been invented to store zip out windbreaker cover (.) within the velcro pocket. This zip out windbreaker cover is a flap that can be opened in any direction but is recommended to be used folded downwar .
Third aspect is the shoulder strap (5, 5') that has been designed in two different ways to suit users tastes. The user has the option to use the shoulder strap that is padded for convenience when carrying the the backpack and/or using the hand strap by tucking in the padded straps inside the windbreaker cover ( .). Last item of this category is the pocket within the backpack that has compartments to carry anything from childrens school utensils to camping tools. This storage space was created for multi-purpose tool storing area.
BACKGROUND ART: Zip out windbreaker and backpack has been created by using nylon based material and has been treated with P. U. coating to prevent wind/rain from penetrating through and/or from getting any inside- material and
tools' wet .
The drawcord attached to the hood of the wind¬ breaker has been inserted to prevent user's hair and the neck portion from getting wet and/or from strong wind that may cause discomforting effects.
Overall, this invention's first priority was to give maximum comfort to the user by attaching the windbreaker to the backpack giving the user quick access to exit from hazardous situations. - The invention has been constructed in such a manner described under the Technical Field section utilizing expert sewing techniques to allow- double comfort of having a backpack and a windbreaker, all in one item.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION:
The inventor wishes to disclose such invention to the consumer that by inventing the -item: the combination backpack and a' zip out windbreaker, the inventor has minimized the discomforts of those con- sumers who have been carrying separate tools such as umbrellas and wind jackets by including the windbreaker within a backpack.
This eliminates the awkwardness of having to carry two or three different wind/rain protecting items by attaching the windbreaker to the backpack making the invention a "one product with multi-purpose usage" for anyone who needs protection from wind/rain when outdoors.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION:
The following description is of the functions of various parts of the illustrated backpack as indicated in INDEX above:
1. BACKPACK: Can include any carrying container with shoulder straps to be worn on the back. The size of this backpack can range from small childrens sizes designed to carry books to large adult sizes designed for hiking/camping purposes. The materials from which the backpacks are made can vary widely depending on the intended use However, the predominant material is woven nylon.

This is simply a flap that when unzipped exposes the fold out windbreaker. It can unzip and fold open in any direction but in the illustration it folds down. , 5' : SHOULDER STRAPS:
These straps are those by which the user car- ries the backpack on the back. Each arm is inserted through the straps which are attached at the bottom of the pack by adjust¬ ment straps and buckles. At the top where the pressure on the shoulders is. greatest, the shoulder straps are padded to provide additional comfort. , 6' : VELCRO POCKET TO HOLD UNZIPPED WINDBREAKER

This is a standard full zip nylon taffeta windbreaker that is stitched to the backpack at the back panel of the windbreaker. When in use the windbreaker is unzipped and un- ' folded, the sleeves are then inserted through . the shoulder straps. The windbreaker can then be worn with the backpack in normal position. When not in use the process is reversed and the windbreaker is folded back into the back- pack where the cover is zipped closed.

The purpose of this zipper is to close the front of the windbreaker as it is being worn. 11 : HOOD: The hood of the windbreaker is designed to go over the head of the user to protect the head from wind/rain. It features a draw¬ string that can be pulled and tied to form a tighter fit for even greater protection from the elements.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY:
This invention is desinged to provide to the user the convenience of having a windbreaker attached to the backpack. The convenience being that when it Is windy and/or rainy, user has the option of zip¬ ping out the attached windbreaker, thus, the user
is able to keep dry despite the wetness without having to carry a separate tool for protection. The zip out windbreaker is always at users disposal, therefore, a separate windbreaker does not have to be carried. After using the windbreaker, it can be conveniently zipped back into the backpack.
The zip out backpack cover has various pockets and can be used as school utensil holder such as pens, notepads, and erasers as well as a camping tool cabinet to hold knives, fork, spoons and various other cooking utensils. Claims
C L A I M S
As illustrated and described above, pockets (2, 3, 3'), zip out windbreaker cover (4), shoulder straps (5s 5') all constitute a relatively standard backpack format.
The elements of the windbreaker taken collecti¬ vely constitute a relatively standard windbreaker format.
The unusual aspect of this invention and the aspect that is being patented is that the- elements of the backpack and windbreaker are combined to form one unit where the windbreaker is concealed in a zip out manner. The zip out windbreaker cover ( .) opens to reveal the windbreaker which is then folded out. The zip out windbreaker cover ( .) is then concealed in the velcro pocket (6, 6'). "*
