Abstract

Une poudre cosmétique utilisée pour fards à paupières, rouges de maquillage et pour application au visage, formée par la combinaison d'un émollient insoluble à l'eau, un tensioactif pour emulsifier ledit émollient dans ladite eau, de l'hémihydrate de sulfate de calcium de la matière particulaire insoluble, avec au moins un ingrédient cosmétiquement acceptable, et de l'eau en quantité suffisante pour l'hydratation totale dudit hémiydrate de sulfate de calcium, cette composition étant essentiellement exempte d'alcools aliphatiques. Cette invention permet la formation de produits de poudres cosmétiques sans qu'il soit nécessaire de comprimer sous pression la poudre en vrac, ou d'utiliser des compositions nécessitant l'évaporation de dissolvants volatils ou la combinaison de pâtes multiples. Le produit de poudre cosmétique est formé sur place lors de l'hydratation du sulfate de calcium et possède les caractéristiques favorables de présentation voulues. La composition peut être versée par le haut dans des moules et le produit de poudre cosmétique peut être formé en éliminant le pressage sous pression, la volatisation de dissolvants organiques, et des étapes de traitement compliquées.
