• the present invention relates to a carrying system, preferably for rucksacks, including at least two carrying straps attached to the upper and lower portions of the rucksack, and intended to bear against, and extend over the shoulders and chest of a wearer for positioning the rucksack against the back of the wearer.
• the rucksacks so far available on the market are usually provided with leather or -fabric straps for positioning the rucksack against the back of the wearer.
• these straps are provided with different types of bearing pads. These pads have indeed relieved the cutting-in of the straps, but in spite of these measures there has been no solution to the problem of chafing under the arms of the wearer, and this chafing can be very irritating.
