Abstract

Connector for plastic tubes conveying a compressed fluid, wherein the tube is instantaneously mounted by simply pushing means which make the tube undisconnectable. The female means of the instantaneous connector (1, 9) comprises a cylindrical guiding male part (1k, 9k), and the tubular male member (9) of semi-flexible plastic material comprises a circular recess (3h) of which the cylindrical surface is conformed with a small tolerance to the cylindrical guiding male part (1k), thereby forming a metal guiding support absorbing the lateral stress which might be exerted on the tubular male member. The invention is used for the connection of compressed air brake circuits.

Ce type de raccordement comporte des moyen qui permettent de monter un tube ou un accessoire de rac¬ cordement dans un raccord instantané par une simple pous¬ sée sur-le tube ou l'accessoire sans aucune autre manoeu¬ vre et de telle sorte que le tube soit maintenu dans le raccord et que l'étanchéité soit assurée. Ces raccords instantanés sont bien connus et ils ont fait l'objet des brevets français 2.012.796, 2.319.833, 2.258-585 et 2.749. qui appartiennent au déposant. Ces raccords sont très lar¬ gement utilisés dans l'industrie pour le raccordement des tuyauteries en matière plastique sur les machines fonction nant à l'air comprimé. Par ailleurs le freinage des camions est réalisé par des moyens actionnés par l'air comprimé et actuellement tous les circuits anciens en tube d'acier sont remplacés par des circuits en tube de matière plas¬ tique du type polyamide â hautes caractéristiques. Du fait que l'on emploie ces tubes en ma¬ tière plastique qui font gagner du poids, il est devenu nécessaire de gagner du temps lors du montage des raccor¬ dements très nombreux de l'installation de freinage qui est complexe. Par ailleurs, il faut tenir compte du fait que la sécurité de freinage est primordiale sur les ca¬ mions et qu'un défaut de freinage présente un grand dan¬ ger sur ces véhicules. Bien entendu l'invention n'est pas limita¬ tive et l'homme de l'art pourra y apporter des modifica¬ tions sans sortir du domaine de l'invention. R E V E N D I C A T I O N S

Dispositif de raccordement pour tubes en matière plastique véhiculant un fluide comprimé dans lequel le tube est monté instantanément par une simple poussée dans des moyens rendant le tube indémontable, ledit dispo- sitif étant constitué d'accessoires de raccordement munis d'au moins un moyen femelle de raccordement instantané et d'au moins un organe mâle tubulaire, lesdits accessoires étant combinés avec des organes de montage sur un appareil et comportant un moyen femelle de raccordement instantané, caractérisé en ce que le moyen femelle de raccordement in¬ stantané (1, 9) comporté une partie mâle de guidage cylin¬ drique lk, 9k, et en ce que l'organe mâle tubulaire (4) en matière plastique semi-souple comporte un evidement circulaire 3h, dont la surface cylindrique épouse avec un faible jeu, la partie mâle de guidage cylindrique lk cons¬ tituant ainsi un guidage métallique de soutien absorbant les efforts latéraux susceptibles de s'exercer sur l'organe mâle tubulaire.1.
