Abstract

An installation enables to produce optically, electronically or magnetically stored information relative to a substantially plane image of a subject. A non-uniform or variable motion of a line-scanning device (3) of a planar surface is corrected by modifying the storing speed by means of control signals which are generated by signal generators (25, 26) which are sensitive to non-uniform scanning. Thereby, a distorsion-free subject image (1) is obtained in the storing medium (2).
