Abstract

Un dispositif de mesure de dimensions transversales d'articles filamenteux transparents et translucides comprend une source (1) de radiation coherente monochromatique sur l'axe optique (2) de laquelle est place l'article filamenteux inspecte (3) dans un support (4) perpendiculaire a l'axe optique (2). Le dispositif comprend egalement un corps filamenteux (5) non transparent a la radiation coherente monochromatique dont les dimensions transversales sont egales ou plus petites que celles de l'article inspecte (3), ce corps etant place dans le support (4) avec l'article (3), a l'aide de guides (6) pour positionner le corps filamenteux parallelement a l'article inspecte dans un plan passant par l'axe optique. Le flux de radiation qui traverse des zones peripheriques de l'article inspecte (3), dont la zone centrale est filtree avec le corps filamenteux (5), et le flux de radiation reflechi par l'article (3) sont tous deux recus par un photodetecteur (7) connecte a un dispositif d'analyse (8) pour evaluer les dimensions transversales de l'article par l'intermediaire de sa figure de diffraction.
