PROCEDE MECANIQUE DE GEMMAGE DES ARBRES A LATEX PAR DISPOSITIFS MANUELS OU AUTOMATISES MECHANICAL PROCESS FOR GEMMING LATEX TREES BY MANUAL OR AUTOMATED DEVICES
L e domaine technique de cette invention est la récolte de produits de gemmage, comme le latei et certaines sèves, dans les exploitations modernes d'arbres à gemmer.T he technical field of this invention is the harvesting of tapping products, such as latei and certain saps, in modern operations for tapping trees.
It will mechanize, automate and plan tapping. In the current state of things, tapping is practiced by a large workforce, equipped with a manual tool of the gouge type, bleeding knife or point wheel. This way of proceeding makes the exploitation of gum trees almost impossible in territories without a large workforce and suitable for these arduous and delicate work. In addition, the technical and social development of the developing countries brings with it difficulties which can go further in recruiting such a workforce.
The present invention consists in equipping each shaft with a device for guiding a tool suitable for each type of shaft or tapping and operating this equipment either manually or by incorporated motor.
The manual version will allow to use a ττmn-d Work without great qualification, by optimizing the output and the precision of the work. The automated version will make it possible to increase the yield by choosing the days and hours of treatment according to criteria linked to opportunity, independent of personnel problems. A reduced staff, trained in mid-service and maintenance of this equipment will ensure the rational exploitation of trees ”
A gemming plant will allow the distribution of energy to the equipment. A sequential distribution system will allow the choice of plots and will act in each of them successive groups of equipment for a time sufficient for an incision. This tool passage time will not exceed a minute or two for an engine whose power is from 100 to 200 Y. A successive start-up of the groups will make it possible to bleed a plot of one hectare in a time not exceeding one hour. This procedure gives the possibility of detecting malfunctions located within a group, thus facilitating maintenance and limiting in reasonable proportions, the power of the power plant and the conductor section. Protection systems and audible alarms will ensure the safety of people working on the plantation. Each unit can be fixed or mobile. Plate 1/3 shows a synoptic table of the whole process in automatic version.
Plate 2/3 shows an example of manual equipment.
