Abstract

Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe gelingt gemäß der Erfindung in überraschend einfacher Weise dadurch, daß neben dem die Bahn in Bogen zerschneidenden Querεchneider ein weiterer Querschneider vorgesehen ist, mittels dessen zur Bewerkstelligung eines fliegenden Rollenwechsels eine Stoßstelle zwischen der auslaufenden Bahn und einer hieran anzuklebenden Bahn herstellbar ist, und daß die Länge des Bahnverlaufs zwischen den beiden Querschneidern einstellbar ist. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Einstellbarkeit der Länge des Bahnverlaufs zwischen den beiden Querschneidern läßt sich die Schnittstelle des ersten QuerSchneiders ohne weiteres so legen, daß die im Bereich der Stoßstelle zwischen den beiden Bahnen nicht vermeidbare Verdickung nach erfolgtem Bogenschnitt in einem Bogenbereich liegt, der nicht bedruckt wird. Normalerweise ist dies im Bereich der Bogenränder der Fall. Zur Überbrückung der Stoßstelle können die genannten Enden der Bahnen 11 und 12 einfach leicht überlappt miteinander verklebt werden. Eine andere Ausführungsform kann darin bestehen, die bei 13 angedeutete Stoßstelle einfach mittels eines Klebstreifens 14 zu überbrücken. Der Schnitt des Querschneiders 3 liegt daher praktisch an derselben Stelle wie der Schnitt des Querschneiders 10, so daß die im Bereich der Stoßstelle vorhandene Verdickung praktisch durchtrennt wird, womit die eine Hälfte im Bereich des rechten Rands eines ersten Bogens und die andere Hälfte im Bereich des linken Rands des jeweils nachfolgenden Bogens zu liegen kommt, so daß auch noch ein verhältnismäßig schmaler unbedruckter Rand ausreicht, die genannte Verdickung aufzunehmen. Die Einstellung des Speichers 15 kann aber auch so erfolgen, daß der Schnitt des Querschneiders 3 unmittelbar vor der Verdickung erfolgt. Hierbei liegt somit die Verdickung im Bereich des vorderen Rands eines den Querschneider in Bahnlaufrichtung verlassenden Bogens.
