Abstract

Dispositivo electrónico de baja energía y método para comunicar información de identificación a un dispositivo electrónico portátil cercano. El dispositivo comprende un transceptor y una unidad de procesamiento en comunicación con el transceptor. Dicha unidad, al ser activada por el usuario, cambia el transceptor a un modo de comunicación unidireccional, donde transmite una señal de activación genérica durante un primer período, y una señal de identificador de usuario durante un segundo período. Transcurrido el segundo período, la unidad de procesamiento cambia el transceptor a un modo de comunicación bidireccional para facilitar la recepción de una señal confirmatoria entrante.
