Abstract

Se describe un proceso integrado para producir al menos una pulpa de celulosa que comprende celulosa en forma de fibras y una corriente de polioles a partir de un material ligno-celulósico que comprende celulosa, hemicelulosa y lignina. Dicho proceso comprende las etapas de: a) Tratar la materia prima lignocelulósica para producir la pulpa celulósica y al menos una corriente líquida de azúcar que comprende agua y azúcares monoméricos derivados de la hemicelulosa de la materia prima lignocelulósica; b) Catalíticamente convertir los azúcares monoméricos presentes en la corriente líquida de azúcar en una mezcla de polioles, la cual comprende polioles primarios y polioles secundarios. c) Recuperar una primera energía térmica de la corriente residual en una primera unidad de recuperación
