Abstract

Se describe un proceso integrado para la producción de 2,5 FDCA en dos etapas, una primera etapa pa ra la generación de 5- HMF a partir de corrientes comprendiendo una solución acuosa de hidratos de carbono, en donde el agua en estado subcrítico actúa como catalizador deshidratando los hidratos d e carbono y generando 5-HMF, y una segunda etapa de oxidación del 5-HFM para obtener 2,5 FDCA.
