Abstract

Ésteres de agroquímicos de ácido carboxílico que comprenden un grupo protector lábil y que presentan la siguiente fórmula I.. Algunos ésteres de agroquímicos de ácido carboxílico no se hidrolizan significativamente en la oscuridad, pero se clivan cuando son expuestos a la luz regenerando el agroquímico de ácido carboxílico parental. Otros ésteres de agroquímicos de ácido carboxílico se hidrolizan tanto a la luz como en oscuridad. La invención se relaciona además con métodos para liberación controlada de agroquímicos de ácido carboxílico y métodos para controlar plantas no deseadas que comprenden aplicarles un éster de un agroquímico de ácido carboxílico.
