Abstract
En particular en la técnica se telecomunicaciones y de transmisiones de datos se emplean enchufes de protección frente a sobretensiones, para proteger los pares conectados frente a sobretensiones y sobrecorrientes debida a defectos técnicos o perturbaciones exteriores tales como por ejemplo caídas de rayos. La invención se refiere a un enchufe de protección frente a sobretensiones, que incluye por lo menos un componente limitador de tensión eléctrica con un elemento fusible asociado y un dispositivo de protección frente a fallos, en que el elemento fusible dispara en caso de sobrecalentamiento térmico el dispositivo de protección frente a fallos, el cual puede ampliarse optativamente con una señalización óptica de la protección frente a fallos, en que el componente limitador de tensión eléctrica está dispuesto, con el elemento de fusible asociado y el dispositivo de protección frente a fallos, como unidad cerrada sobre una primera placa conductora, a la que puede asociarse optativamente la señalización óptica de la protección frente a fallos dispuesta sobre una segunda placa conductora separada.
