To all whom it may concern:

Beit known that I, THoMs HOLMES, designer and agent, of the eity of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and JState of. New York, have invented a certain new Design for Gassimeres; and Ldo hreby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the nrt to which it appertnins to make and use the same, reference being had to the aecompanying photograph, and to the letters of reterenee'marked thereon, which form a part of' this specification.

i The letter A, as shown on accompanying photograph, represents narrow stripes, which are arranged in groups of three, striping the cassimeres lengthwise or warpwise, and havtwo witnesses.
