PATENT OFFICE HUGO HEMMERICH, 0F WYOMISSING, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR TO BERKSHIRE KNITTING MILLS, OF WYOMISSING, PENNSYLVANIA, A CORPORATION 0F PENN- SYLVANIA DESIGN FOR A STOCKING Application led December 27, 1932. Serial No. 46,627. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, HUGO HEMMERIGH, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at IVyomissing, in the `county of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Stocking, of which the following is a specilication, reference being had to the aceompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
This application is filed in lieu of application Serial No. D39,751, filed May 7 1931, which has been abandoned.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 is a partial side View of a stocking composed of fabric embodying my ornamental design, the opposite side thereof being the same. The foot portion (not shown) is of the conventional form having the stocking leg fabric extending down into the instep, While the sole and heel are reinforced in the usual manner.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of a section of the stocking fabric enlarged approximately one and one-half times actual size, but which in the reduction to patent size will show the fabric approximately actual size.

The ornamental design for a stocking, as shown and described.
