Be it known that I, NATHANIEL L. BRAD- LEY, of West Meriden, in the count3v of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented anew Design for Lamp-Pedestal; and I do hereh)Y declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying.;l drawings and the letters ofrel'erence marked there on, to be a full, clear, and exact description ot' the saine, and which said drawings constitute part ofthis specification, and represent a front View.
This invention relates to a design for the pedestal of lamps, and similar burners, and consists in the figure of a dog in a sitting posture, as the principal feature in the pedestal, as shown in the accompanying illustration and hereinafter described.
0n a hase is placed the figure of a dog in a sitting posture, supporting, or as the essential feature in a support for, a lamp or other hurner; the burner or fount, as the case may be, being above the head ofthe dog, as shown in the accompanying' illustration, it 01115v being' essential that there hea burner or fonnt of sonic character combined with the dogl in sitting posture, the chiei clement of the design.
