In prod ucing my said design I have had in View the making of a, iiair-brush with a inetallic frav e or handle,it boing castor founded acoordin to the design or pattern in question. i

The sell design is ccmposed in part of an elliptical :.nuulns A,hr.vingis upper edge or surface scalloped or convolu ed, as seen at (r a, and its lower edgt denticuatcd, as seen at b b. Such design isalso composed in part of an open handle B, of the form seen in the drawings, and united to the annulus A, the ornament at the uni-n being two leaves c c, branching asunder a|d united on the annulns by a chain of s 'ui-ellipsoidal gutt-a or drops. Into the ann lus part of the handle the brush-block C is inserted and fixed by closing the dents or teeth down upon its sides, a cover or name-plae D beln,r previously placed over it.

I claim- The ornamental design, substantially as above described and as exhibited in the drawings.
