Specification forming part of Design No. 5,49S,dated January 30, 1872.

Be it known that I, OTTO F. FOGELSTRAND, of Kensington, in the county of Hartford and State ot' Connecticut, have invented and produced anew and original Design for a Cupboard-'I`nrn, o1' which the following is a specitieation The nature ot' my design is fully represented in the accompanying engraving, to which reference is made.

A represents the body of the latch-case, and B the catch. 0n three sides ot' said parts is the plate or ilange b. Surromnling the face of each ot' the parts A B b b isa plain ledge, o. The spaces inclosed by said ledge are mainv ly filled by tine check-work. On the tiange b, above and below the case A, is a raised iig ure, c, consistin g of scroll or ornamental work. On the Harige b at the end of the case A is a f screw-hole, above and below which is a portion ot' a raised ornamental tigure, d d, and a like figure is at the end ot the eateh I. The face ot' the latch-case A has two such lgnres, h h, one ot which is partiall;v hid hy the knob C, and the face ot' the catch ll has one,'as shown. The face ot the knobC is encircled b y a raised ledge, inside ot' whieh is a raised star, whose points are tipped with diamonds. Thereis also a small ligureoi" raised ornamental Work between the several points ot' the star, as shown.
