DESIGN FOR A TOY BUILDING ELEMENT.
Application filed November 19, 1914. Serial No. 873,058.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALFRED C. GILBERT, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Toy Building Element, of which the following is a specification, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing,
Figure 1 is a front face View of a toy building element embodying my design;
Fig. 2 is a rear face view of said element;
Fig. 3 is a side edge view of said element; and
Fig. 4 is an end view of the same.
The design is characterized by the thinness of the metallic strip, the provision of a strip of this character with a body part having extended ends and intermediate cut- Patented Sept. 18, 1917.
Term of patent 14 years.
out parts forming regularly spaced angu larly disposed lattice parts and the forwardly offset side bars, each of said side bars having forward struck up projections, the projections on one side being arranged alternately with those on the other side, and said projections being arranged adjacent the point of connection of the side bars with the angularly disposed lattice strips. A fur ther feature of the design includes the rearwardly projecting angularly disposed flanges on the side bars.
