Description

DESIGN J. G. FRENCH.
SHOW CASE.
APPLICATION FILED FEB. 6.
Patented Oct. 26, 1915.
I m a M m 2 m W lV/TA/fJSESi JAMES GRAHAM FRENCH, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A SHOW-CASE.
Specification for Design.
Patented Oct. 26, 1915.
Application filed February 6, 1915. Serial No. 6,604. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMEs GRAHAMI F BENCH, a citizen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, county of Philadelphia, and State of Pennsylvania, have inented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Show-Case, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part thereof.
The figures are perspective views, Figure 1 showing the front and end, and Fig. 2 the rear and end, of a show case embodying my new design.
The case comprises a base and mounted thereon the case proper. The latter comprises an exhibition space which, through out the greater part of its height, is of substantially less depth than the depth of the case and is provided with shelves of corresponding depth. The upper portion of the exhibition space is of the depth of the case.
A glass shelf extending throughout the depth of the case spaces the deeper upper portion thereof from the shallower lower portion and from a storage compartment at the rear. The exhibition space is inclosed in a transparent medium. WVhile the storage space afiorded is ample, it is made a minor and inconspicuous feature, while at the same time it serves, by breaking the regular cubical outline of the exhibition space, to enhance the appearance of the case as a whole.
I claim The ornamental design for a show case as shown and described.
In testimony of which invention, I have hereunto set my hand, at Philadelphia, on this 5th day of February, A. D. 1915.
JAMES GRAHAM FRENCH.
