OTTO H. L. WERNICKE, OF GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN.
DESIGN FOR A DRAWER-PULL.
Specification for Design.
Patented June 8, 1915.
Application filed June 29, 1914. Serial No. 848,088. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, OTTO H. L. WER- NIGKE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Grand Rapids, in the county of Kent and State of Michigan, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design for a Drawer-Pull, of which the following is a specification, which, taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, fully discloses the design, such that others may understand the same.
In the drawing: Figure 1 is a perspective'view of my new and ornamental drawer pull, the drawer to which it may be applied being indicated in dotted outline; and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the drawer pull, the drawer front being indicated in dotted lines.
My design for a drawer pull comprises a handle of wood formed of spaced apart outwardly extending members 1, the ends of which bear against the drawer front 2,
and which are connected at a distance from the drawer front by the cross member 3 formed integrally with the members 1. Substantially midway between the upper and the lower edges of the handle members 1 and 3, a metallic band 4 is inset, its outer surface lying flush with the outer surface of the handle. The wood above and below the band in conjunction with the metal of difierent finish makes an ornamental and artistic efiect, pleasing to the eye of the observer.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a drawer pull, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
OTTO H. L. WERNICKE. WVitnesses:
G. H. CURRY, FRANK E. LURIANOE.
