DESIGN FOR A CARPET-PATTERN.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

I, WILLIAM KERR, of Philadelphia, county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invent-ed or produced a. Design for a Carpet-Pattern, of which the following is a specification.

The figure in the accompanying drawings represents my design for a carpet, the remainder of the pattern being merely a repetition of that which appears.

The design consists of a square or diamond-shaped member, A, of a circular member, B, the outline of which is made up of a series of small curves instead of one continuous curve, and of a small square member C.

These members, A, B, and C, are surrounded by curved ribs'a, arranged in such a. manner as to form a circular figure, F, surrounding the member 0, and

elliptical figures H between each of the figures A and B.

Irrespective of any minor ornamentation, or of the colors employed,

I claim The design for a carpet-pattern, consisting of memhers A B and C, and of curved ribs a, the whole being arranged substantially as described, and as represented in and by the accompanying drawings.
