FRANK G, HOLMES, OF TRENTON, NEW JERSEY, ASSIGNOR, BY DIRECT AND MESNE ASSIGNMENTS, OF ONE-HALF TO THE ARCHIBALD- KLEMENT COMPANY, OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, A CORPORATION OF NEW JERSEY, AND ONE-HALF TO LENNOX INCORPORATED, OF TRENTON, NEW JERSEY, A CORPORATION OF NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A VESSEL FOR TABLE USE.
Specification for Design.
Patented Nov. 27, 1906.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRANK G. HOLMES, a citizen of the United States, residing at Trenton, in the county of Mercer and State of New Jersey, have invented an original and ornamental Design for a Vessel for Table Use, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the drawings I show in Figure 1 a side elevation of a vessel for table use embodying my design, and in Fig. 2 I show a top view of such vessel.
As appears from said figures, the design comprises, essentially, a vessel of polygonal shape (hexagonal in the particular instance shown) as viewed from above, the horizontal lines of each of the faces of such vessel being approximately straight. As viewed from the side, the vessel, beginning at the bottom or base, comprises an upwardly-tapering portion merging by a smooth concave curve into a main body portion much larger than the base, which body ortion again contracts near the top and final y expands by a smooth in size, proportions, and attachments required or desirable to adapt them to their several functions.
In my applications filed May 22, 1906, Se-
rial Nos. 318,264 and 318,265, I show, re-
spectively, a coiieepot and a teapot embodying the above-described design, with the addition of top, handle, and spout, as required.
I claim- The ornamental design for a vessel for table use, as shown and described.
FRANK G. HOLMES.
