UNITED STATES PATENT OEEIQE.
STEPHEN D. BAKER, OF NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE PECK BROS. 8: CO., OF NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT, A CORPORATION.
DESIGN FOR A SlPHON-JET SLOP-SINK.
SPECIEICATION forming part of Design NO. 35,801, dated March 11, 1902.
Application filed January 24, 1902. Serial No. 91,134. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it ntay concern:
Be it known that I, STEPHEN D. BAKER, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, haveinvented and produced a new and useful Design for a Siphon- Jet Slop-Sink; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear,
[ and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in-
Figure 1, a plan View of a siphon-jet slopsink embodying my design; Fig. 2, a per- 15 spective view thereof; Fig. 3, a front view.
This invention relates to a design for a siphon-jet slop-sink; and the design consists in the configuration of the sink, as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompany- 2o ing illustrations. v
As herein shown, the design consists in a basin A, which may be described as being oval in general form, because that is the impression it makes upon the eye when looked down upon or seen in plan and because its horizontal sections would present an oval figure. The upper edge of the basin is formed with a roll B, from which the lines of the basin converge in ogee curves to a narrow pedestal C, the axis of which is parallel with the minor axis of the oval basinA and which merges at its rear end into a column D, rising nearly to the top of the said basin. At their lower ends the pedestal O and column D are encircled by a horizontal flange-like foot E. A long mound-like protuberance F extends from the base of the basin downwardly and forwardly over one side of the pedestal. The lines of the basin and pedestal merge into each other for the most part 0 in graceful curves.
I claim The design fora siphon-jet slop-sink, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
STEPHEN D. BAKER.
