OLIVER J. ALLENBAUGH, OF BALTIMORE, MARYLAND.
DESIGN FOR A PUZZLE-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,307, dated November 19, 1901.
Application filed October 5, 1901. Serial No. 77,751. Term of patent 3% years. d
To all whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, OLIVER J. ALLENBAUGH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore, State of Maryland, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Puzzle-Board, of which the following is a specification.
The design consists in the configuration of the puzzle-board illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which-- Figure 1 is a face view of the puzzle-board embodying the features of the design, and Fig. 2 is an edge View of the same.
As shown in the drawings, on the face of the puzzle-board appear two series of disks arranged in rows and in the form of two pyramids in reversed position with respect to each other and with their apices coincident and the disks of one pyramid contrasting in color with the disks of the other pyramid. The disk at one basal corner of one of the pyramid series contains a star-shaped figure, while at the corresponding corner of the other pyramid no disk appears. Border-lines appear, as shown, to form the outlines of the two pyramids, and three lines appear in each pyramid and are located on each pyramid between the lowermost rows of disks and the next three succeeding rows and extend in a direction parallel with the bases of said pyramids.
The essential feature of the design consists in the two series of disks arranged in rows and in the form of two pyramids with their apices coincident.
The design for a puzzle-board herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
OLIVER J. ALLENBAUGH.
Witnesses:
