UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
ARTHUR sHAUoK, or GALION, OHIO.
DESIGN FOR A COLLAR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,614, dated June 4, 1901.
Application filed March 1, 1901. Serial No. 49,521. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ARTHUR M. SHAUOK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Galion, in the county of Crawford and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for Collars, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The drawing is a plan view of a collar laid out, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the material or essential features of my design consist in the segmental inner flaps having outer inclined ends and inwardly-curved inner ends connecting with an outwardly central curved flap, the outer flap having a convex edge and inclined ends approximately in line with the inclined ends of the inner flaps and the neckband continued beyond the inclined ends in the form of tabs.
1 is the outer flap, having a convex edge 2 and inclined ends 3, a neckband 4, continued beyond the outer flap to provide end tabs 5, outwardly-curved central flap 6 and segmental flaps 7, having inclined outer ends 3, approximately in line with the inclined ends 3, and inwardly-curved inner ends 8, merged into the central flap.
Having thus described my invention, the following is what I claim as new therein and desire to secure by Letters Patent:
The design for a collar as herein shown an described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature 35 in presence of two witnesses.
ARTHUR M. SHAUCK.
Witnesses:
JOHN ENGLISH, GEORGE S. MINNIcK.
