DESIGN FOR A CALENDAR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,603, dated June 4, 1901. A li fl filed April 30, 1901. Serial No. 58,223. Term of patent 3% years.
Be it known that I, HENRY DOYLE, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York, borough of Manhattan ,and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and origi nal Design for Calendars, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, and in which Figure 1 is a front elevation of a calendar, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is an edge View of the same.
The leading or material features of my design are a plate, in the form of an artists palette, bearing a reetangularohject, above the same the representation of the bust of a woman, and representations of dauhs of color alongside of the same.
Referring to the drawings, a indicates a plate in the form of an artists palette provided at its lower end with a rectangular object 1), representing a calendar. Above the calendar is a representation cof the bust of a Woman on a patch-like ornament a, while alongside the same are a number of irregularly-shaped ornamentations (1, representing danhs of paint. The face of the plate is grained in imitation of wood.
\Vhat I claim as new is- The design for a calendar, as herein shown and described.
