DESIGN FOR AN INKSTAND OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,434, dated April 30, 1901.
Application filed April 4,1901. Serial No. 54,398. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be in known that I, LUDY A. WARNER, J12, a citizen of theUnited States, residingat Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Inkst ands or Similar Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyin; drawing, forming a part, thereof.
This design relates to the configuration of an inkstand, paper-weight, or similar article of desk furniture.
The accompanying d rawing is a perspective View of an inkstand embodying my design.
The leading feanure of my design consists of the represeniabionof a waLei-fall atone end of a substantially rectangular block which forms the main body of the inksband or paperweight.
Referring to the drawing, A is a block having; a flat base a, a fiat, top 1), parallel upright sides c, and an end (1, arranged at right angles to the sides, so that; the block is suhsilaniially rectangular in form. Ab the opposite end r the block is formed so as be represent; a waterfall, which descends from the fiat (101 and spreads out endwise at the helium in Lhe furm of waves. This waterfall isdivided by a prejeclion f, which represents rocks or land l)(}- tween Lwo falling bodies of water.
