Description

DESIGN.
w. BUNTING, m. TRAP BODY.
[Application filed Apr. 18, 1900.)
Patented May I5, 1900.
Inventor W mum J?- UNITED STATES PATENT OEEIcE.
\VTLLIAM HUNTING, JR, OF BROOKLINE, MASSACHUSETTS.
DESIGN FOR A TRAP-BODY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design IN 0. 32,657, dated May 15, 1900.
pplication filed April 18, 1900. Serial No. 13,392. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM HUNTING, Jr., a citizen of the United States, residing at Brookline, county of Norfolk, and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Trap-Bodies, of which the following is a specification, reference being made to the accom panying d rawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure l is a front elevation of the trapbody, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a waste-pipe-trap body having the down leg thereof formed by a pipe A, which is bent in a circular or annular form. An inlet-pipe B is connected to the annular pipe A at the top of the ring formed thereby, and the outletpipe C is connected to the rear side of the annularly-bent pipe and at the lower portion thereof. The outlet-pipe 0 extends upwardly and rearwardly from its point of connection with pipe A and is formed with two bends or curves. Both inlet and outlet pipes have their center lines in a plane through the vertical diainetrical line of the annularly-bent pipe A and at right angles to the central plane of the latter. The surface of all the pipes is plain and without ornamentation of any sort, the design simply relating to the confignra= tion of the main body of the trap and not relating in any manner to the form of connections to the inlet and outlet pipes or to the clean-out opening.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is as follows:
The design fora trap-body, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I sign my name, 011 this 13th day of March, in the year 1900, in the presence of two witnesses.
