To (all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that we, FRANK RADFORD and EDWARD O. BOYER, citizens of the United States, residing at Dayton, in the county of Montgomery and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Clamp Member, of Which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, and in which like characters of reference refer to correspondingly-formed parts.
Our invention relates to a design for a clamp member for use more especially in grinding-machines.
Figure 1 is a rear elevation of a clamp member formed in accordance with our new and useful design. Fig. 2 is a front elevation thereof. Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof; and Fig. 4 is a sectional view thereof on line as m of Fig. 3, these four views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate our design.
From opposite ends of the horizontal bar A are upward extensions B, terminating in forward projections C. Centrally upon the front side of said bar is a projection D. Near the opposite ends of and projecting from the lower side of said bar A are straight arms E, having lugs F on one side of the ends of each of said arms E and projecting beyond one edge of said arms E.
The essential feature of our design for a clamp member consists of a horizontal bar with upward and forwardly projecting extensions and downwardly-projecting arms near the ends of said bar and a central forward projection on said bar.
\Vhat We claim is The design for a clamp member, substantially as herein shown and described.
In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands this 24th day of October, 1898.
