Be it known that I, HENRY G. THOMPSON, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design fora Putternto he Inwrought into Two-Ply Ingrnin and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the piece of those painted on the drawings herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the nrt of' carpet-weaving a more defined nnd thorough description ofthe nature of my invention than it is in thepower of language otherwise to convey,

and is suiiicientito enable any one skilled in the ynrt of carpet-weaving to use my invention.

What I'claim as my invention, and vdesire to secure by Letters Patent, is- The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when merle by being inwrought into two-ply ingrain or other carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings accompanying this specification.
