TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, HENRY G. THOMPSON, of the city, county, and Sta-te of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Three-Ply Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings herewith; and do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and Convey to :my one skilled in the art of carpet-Weaving e more defined and thoroughdescription of the nature of my invention than it is in the power of htnguege otherwise to convey, and is suieient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-Weaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The conguration of the design hereunto annexed, .when made by being inwrought into three-ply ingrein or other carpeting, in the form simile-r to the drawings accompanying this speeeation.
