Be it known that I, HENRY Gr. THOMPSON, of -t`ne city, county, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a, Pattern to be Inwronght into Two-Ply Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted en the drawings herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings aclcompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of. carpet-Weaving a. more dened and thorough deseription of the nature or" my invention than it is' in the power of language otherwise to convey, and is sucient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention.

What I ela-im as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is v- The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when made by being inwrought into two-ply ingrain or other carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings accompanying this specification. v
