DESIGN FOR A OHURN-DASH.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, RANDALL T. VAN VAL- KENBURG, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dayton, in the county of Montgomery and State of Ohio, have invented and produced anew and original Design for a Churn- Dash; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

Figure l is a side elevation of a churn-dash, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a lower plan view.

As is shown in the accompanying drawings, the leading or material feature of my new de sign consists of a churn-dash, the body A of which is of a conical or hell shape, so that a substantially smaller area of opening is provided at the top than at the bottom. The lower end of said cone has a series of blades 13 projected out therefrom substantially on the angles shown in the drawings. The upper end of said cone is joined to a hub or socket C by a series of bars D. i The lower end of the said hub is on a plane above that of the upper end of the cone, so that the bars D occupy an incline in reaching from said cone to the hub. The upper sides of the said bars I) taper in the same direction or in the direction in which the blades B lie.

Having described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a churn-dash substantially as shown and described.
